Examination Hall Guidelines: Permitted Items
Standardizing the Testing Environment at school
To ensure a fair testing process, the board has issued a specific list of items allowed inside the hall. Students are permitted to carry their pens and pencils in a transparent pouch only, and water bottles must also be clear and label-free. The use of any electronic gadgets, including smartwatches and mobile phones, remains strictly prohibited. A dedicated 15-minute reading period is provided before writing begins, allowing students to review the question paper and plan their answers strategically without the pressure of the clock.
CBSE Board Exams 2026: Mandatory Entry Protocols
Strict Identification and Uniform Rules
As the 2026 board exam cycle progresses, CBSE has reinforced its strict entry requirements for all candidates. Every student must present a physical Admit Card and a valid School ID to gain access to the examination center. To maintain a standardized environment, regular students are required to appear in their full school uniform. Security teams at the gates are instructed to strictly enforce these rules, and students arriving without the proper documentation or in casual attire may face delays or denial of entry.
Holi Festival 2026: Regional School Holidays
Spring Break and Festive Closures
The upcoming Holi festival will see a nationwide pause in regular school activities. In the Mohali and Chandigarh region, educational institutions are scheduled to close for the main celebrations of Holika Dahan and Dhulandi. This mid-week break offers students a chance to participate in traditional festivities before the final stretch of the academic year. While most junior classes will enjoy a full holiday, schools often use this period to perform deep-cleaning of campuses following the vibrant "festival of colors."
